What’s the deal with this feature? It’s the most requested from what I can see - but hasn’t been prioritized yet?All the competitors have it: Monday, clickup etc. so if you’re looking to make pipefy a place that customers on those platforms can migrate to, it really is critical.

Adding a voice to the cacophony - this should be pipefy’s #1 focus.I see other features getting released or new templates added that don’t add anything compared to this (I don’t use them). I’m sure… everyone would use this.

Long Text Fields don't accept any code being stored in them?

@marcos.pedrosa i’m afraid that doesn’t work. I think it’s probably just for “code formatting” - I get the same error.

Pipe "Dashboard" permissions for Restricted View Users

Thanks @marcos.pedrosa Many of the cards in this dashboard’s output she is assigned to. But none are showing up.So it seems to be something else beyond this.Is it something to do with connected fields? (these are set as filters in the charts) - but again, she has at least read access to these/ and uses the values in them - so I don’t know why they wouldn’t be showing. I did this test:I create a chart with only cards assigned to this team member the output is as per below for me:In her version she is not seeing any of the cards with a dimension value attributed to them - only the ones without values.

Thanks @genietim @Ezequiel Souza - we’ve had some automations not making the changes with hidden fields so I assumed that was the pattern, I’ll dig in further and let you know what it was.

@Rica this post seems to be outdated.I can’t find this option: “Allow all team members to create cards on this pipe”The edit start form option also moved, so I’m guessing you changed this.Can you confirm if making a pipe private will hide a pipe from everyone else?thanks

That got it @genietim - I used the updateCardField - thanks!So I’ve got it working without the ‘required’ attribute on for the Connection Field now. That’ll be fine for the moment, can figure out how necessary required is/ and if there is a workaround for it.So the full approach was:Create Child Cards First (createCard) Add to Parent Card with updateCardField Last

Ok, good news @genietim. Thanks for your help.I got past everything and it went through. The connection shows up in Pipefy now, BUT… it doesn’t show on the ConnectedField. It shows at the top left of the card that the connection is established, but it isn’t on the field.I’m not sure how this is working @natalia-manffre perhaps you have an idea here, as I specified the internal id of the specific field and that it should connect at the Field level? This Creates the CardThis Relates the Card to that Cardmutation {createCardRelation(input: {childId: {{180.id}},parentId: {{81.id}},sourceId: 344416146,sourceType: "Field" }) {clientMutationId}} Screenshot - you can see that “CRITERIA SET” has nothing connected to it. But the card “Company” is connected to this Card in “CRITERIA SET”.

Hi @natalia-manffre @genietim Unfortunately I have not been able to create cards with attached fields - I am getting errors. So I resorted to removing the ‘required’ on the connection fields for testing and linking them with createCardRelation afterwards, however, am still running into trouble.Example ErrorError 30003 Validation failed: Source Source Field is not connected to repo 302727453This is the GraphQLmutation {createCardRelation(input: {childId: ID, // the child id is added hereparentId: ID, // the parent ID is added heresourceId: 344416146, // the internal field id is added heresourceType: "Field" }) {clientMutationId}}Not sure where this is going wrong. Would appreciate any thoughts.

So it looks like you’re saying this can be approached differently.Step 1: Create the new card (with the code you pasted) Step 2: Connect the new card created to the connected fieldDid I understand you correctly?I ask because currently this Pipe only allows the creation of cards from the connected field - not search and attach. So I don’t think that will work with this current set up.

I found this a little tricky. But here’s my take on it. Hope it’s helpful.Pipefy helps me better manage my team and resources. I have visibility over all efforts, so I can easily make decisions and help my team do their job. Pipefy is a great tool for approval flows. Requests are processed smoothly and delivered on time. Pipefy is excellent because it automates my processes. Stakeholders are constantly updated, and my team can focus on activities that depend on human actions. Pipefy changed the way I collaborate with other teams and vice-versa. It facilitates the exchange of information between people, departments, and processes. Pipefy is great for requests overall. People submit what they need, and my team can prioritize only what makes sense and deliver it quickly.

@marcos.pedrosa thanks for the input. This works well for querying the Pipe A that has the connected field to see Pipe B connected cards via those connected Fields. However, when I query Pipe B it shows no connected cards. This is because Pipe B doesn’t have the connected fields, it is Pipe A that has them.So the question: Is it possible to reverse this query so that it works for Pipe B - to find all parent cards from specific Pipes?

Found the solution to this. There were “ in the text which had to be escaped. Escaping them with one \ did not work. I’ve seen examples where someone has used \\\ (3 backslashes).Are 3 backslashes necessary?

Dynamic Content - No Longer Gives Access to Layers of Connected Fields

No update on this @genietim . When I ask, i just get “the developer team are working on it.”It would help if I had a ‘bug tracking number’ or something like that, as I’m not sure I’m getting answered for the correct bug all the time.
