Sorry if this is a silly question but: what is this used for? I thought css was for web development. With Pipefy already being beautiful to look at, when would someone need to modify or use the css elsewhere?

Thanks @Danielle Diehl ! That clears it up for me and does make sense.  Can you tell us more about the “follow their requests” part? According to the article you shared, they aren’t able to edit cards or see the pipes, so what do you mean when you say they can follow their cards? How can they see them?

Hi @Danielle Diehl , Forgive me for a possibly silly question: but what is the benefit of this membership type? I looked at the “learn more” link and it sounds like all they can do is access forms and create cards. Isn’t that already possible with public forms? I share links to our public forms with my external guests and they complete the form to create a card. How is this new membership any different than that process?

Exactly @genietim . A real “smart” form.  It would work similarly to how the “when a field is updated > update a field” automation can work now, only on the Start Form when information is first being entered.

Auto-populate fields on start form

I opened a support case with Pipefy in case it was a technical issue. I was just informed by @carlos-roberto (hope I’m tagging the right person) that it’s not possible to use automations on the start form. This is a known limitation of the product and the expected behaviour. I’ll make a post here in the community to add it as an idea for future improvements.

Great idea! It looks like you’re trying to set up a notification to be sent any time a new email is sent to the pipe or a reply appears on a card. Is that right?

Hi @tobiasbaco , Are there mandatory fields in the final phase for lost deals? If it’s only the start form that has mandatory fields, I imagine you’d be able to move the cards to “lost deals” with an automation because the mandatory fields would already be filled out.  Have you tried setting up the automation to see if it works? Maybe there won’t be a problem.

Hi Ryan! Sounds like quite a complex scenario you’re trying to build - with many different options and outcomes. I think your best bet would be to work with your Pipefy Account Manager to try to get someone from their team to help you build out the workflow you’re describing. That said, these are some things I would recommend: You mentioned that when the customer chooses a service they then have to fill out more questions to provide information. If possible, I would include those questions in the same form rather than trying to link them to a separate one.  If your new customers have to fill out multiple forms, grouping them in a portal could be a great idea. That way you only have to send them the one link.  For each field on the start form you can include “help text”. This will appear as a little icon to the right of the question.  Help Text icon The customer can click on the icon to read any text instructions you’ve provided or to access links to other resources.
