Hi, I would love to create a database where I can store records from customers and requesters. The idea is to use this information across multiple processes. Is that possible?

Hey @Mary Anne , just adding to Nicole’s answer, once you have your database created you can use connections or connection fields to search/create records from as many processes as you want.

A single database can be used in multiple processes.

@genietim I got it all figured out yesterday. Once I realized I needed to enable the app and connect the database, I was all set. Really great features. I am a little concerned at how long it takes for imported data to register in their respective DBs. I imported 2 spreadsheets yesterday afternoon, and neither of the imports have completed as of right now. Thanks so much for your response!!

Hello Mary Anne, how are you doing today?

Yes, you can. The database feature is Pipefy's information storage system. You can think of it as the shelves in a library where you can store and retrieve important information for your company's processes, such as customer, supplier and product registration. :)

I think this article can help:

@dgodfrey you can create a database and then import data from a spreadsheet into that database. You can use the Importer App for this. See docs: https://help.pipefy.com/en/articles/2446438-how-to-use-the-importer-app-pipe-apps

Note that the usage is not entirely intuitive: you need to be inside a connected pipe instead of the table to import data into the table.

Is it possible to create a database from a spreadsheet?
