Bulk Edit Cards

This was mentioned here as part of a bundle of requests, so I thought it better to highlight separately so we understand true demand for this item: 

Problem: Sometimes we need to edit mutliple cards for something in a pipe or database (e.g. give them all the same new drop down attribute we’ve added). This is very time consuming because of the way the cards open one by one.

Solutions:

  1. Any type of bulk edit tool can fix this. The most often used in SAAS is a ‘check’ on the side (e.g. left side) that you click, with a drop down for what you want to bulk edit at the top e.g. Change field.
  2. Alternatively if you had a specific type of automation that could run through a pipe with a filter and modify cards that apply to the filter. E.g. all cards with FIELD A = XXX, THEN change FIELD B = YYY
