I’ve tried something similar in our office, using a TV to keep an eye on Pipefy dashboards throughout the day. Overall it works pretty well, but there are a few things I learned along the way:
1. Any smart TV with a built-in browser can work
But performance varies a lot. Some built-in browsers struggle with heavier dashboards or take a while to refresh.
2. A small mini-PC or stick PC works better
We ended up plugging a low-cost mini-PC into the TV and opening Pipefy in a normal browser. This made the dashboards load faster and auto-refresh more reliably.
3. Real-time updates aren’t always instant
Pipefy dashboards do refresh, but it’s not true real-time. If you need near-live status, leaving the page open in a standard browser gives better results.
4. Switching between pipes isn’t very smooth on a TV app
Especially if you’re relying only on the TV’s built-in browser. A PC or Chromecast setup makes switching much easier.
5. Full-screen mode helps visibility a lot
Our team mostly uses it to spot overdue cards and bottlenecks, and full-screen mode makes it readable from across the room.
So yes — it works, but the quality of the setup depends heavily on the device you use to display the dashboard. A dedicated small PC or a streaming stick has been the most stable option for us.
Hope that helps!
