Delete email attachments to prevent GDPR issues

Hi there

As much as we like the email improvements in Pipefy we really need a way for our staff to delete email attachments from the UI to comply with GDPR and other data security best practices.

Why? Well we have several use cases where we take in emails and turn them into cards. This causes a major problem if someone emails in something they shouldn’t - like a scan of an ID document or a spreadsheet with list of Personal Data. Plus it would be nice to delete sensitive material from cards when it is no longer required.

Please can a feature to delete email attachments be developed as a high priority?

Thank you

I liked the idea. There could be an option to not attach the uploaded files too.

When a candidate fill the public form we need to ask for some personal info to proceed with the sale, and they send it as an attachment via e-mail, but later I can’t hide it from other departments that don’t need to see it. It would be great to at least have a ‘hide’ option depending on user permissions.

Hi everybody, thanks for the ideas. 😊

Yes, we are now working a lot to improve the security aspects on Pipefy (user permissions, LGPD, GDPR, Compliance, etc) and the way to delete the attachments make sense. Also we can have the audit trails section that says who delete the attachment and the why.

And for 'hide' fields, it is already covered on this work (user permissions) as well and probably we are going to have some news on Q3 and Q4 2022.

Stay tuned and thanks.
