The advanced phase option of add assignees does not have a good UX. We need the flexibility to decide:
A: assign to this phase only, once it leaves this phase, remove assignee (or atleast have an automation to accomplish this)
B: current logic of assignee will stick

+15I agree with you that this function is bad. Until she is improved, there is a way to solve it.
You can create an automation with specific rules for a specific user to be allocated.
The problem here is that you need an automation rule for each scenario/user.
ty Lucas! one of your co-workers suggested another hack as well that I like which is add a dummy user as the assignee for the next phase but this ux of selecting would be ideal as we have cases where we want the assignee to stick and other times not to:)
