Currently, Pipefy only supports SLA rules and late alerts based on the time a card spends in a phase or on the native Due Date field. There is no native way to trigger alerts or automations based on custom date fields created inside pipe forms.
In commercial and negotiation processes, deadlines are often not fixed or phase-dependent they are defined by the user themselves through a manually filled date field, such as an "Expected Close Date." Right now, there is no native way to monitor this kind of field and automatically send an email or trigger an alert when that date has passed, without relying on external integrations or workarounds.
The suggestion is to allow any date-type field in a pipe form to be used as a reference for SLA rules and late alerts, in the same way the native Due Date field works today. This would make automations significantly more flexible and remove the need for third-party tools in simple, common use cases.
This improvement would benefit sales, customer success, legal, and any other team that works with deadlines set directly by users within the process.
