Overview
Reviewing who has access to the workspace and at what permission level used to mean scrolling through the entire member list by hand. The Members and Permissions screen now has a filter panel that makes that review objective: in a few clicks, you isolate exactly the group of users you need to check.
What's new?
- A Filters button next to the name search opens a panel with four combinable fields
- Role: select one or more roles, including each company's custom roles
- Billable: Yes or No
- 2FA: Yes or No
- Last login: Last 7, 30, or 90 days, More than 90 days ago, Never accessed, or a custom range
How does this help?
- Admin access review in seconds: combine Super admin and Company admin to list everyone with elevated privileges, without opening each profile one by one
- Security risk identification: filtering by 2FA: No immediately surfaces everyone who still hasn't turned on two factor authentication
- Lower cost from idle licenses: Billable: Yes combined with Last login: More than 90 days ago points to paid licenses that aren't being used
- Filters combine with each other: role, billable, 2FA, and last login can be cross referenced in the same query, with no need to repeat the search for each criterion
Use cases
Security admin running a quarterly access audit. Ahead of a compliance review, the admin needs to prove who has administrative access to the workspace. Filtering Role for Super admin and Company admin pulls the full list of elevated accounts without opening each profile to check its assigned role. That removes the need to build that list by hand in a separate spreadsheet.
Security team enforcing 2FA activation before a compliance deadline. With 2FA: No, the team isolates every member who hasn't turned on two factor authentication in a single click, regardless of role or department. From that list, they can send a targeted reminder only to the people who actually need to act, instead of notifying the entire workspace.
Finance manager reviewing paid license spend before contract renewal. Combining Billable: Yes with Last login: More than 90 days ago identifies who holds a paid license without having logged in for over three months. Switching to Never accessed separates out people who received a license and never used the product at all. That segmentation backs the decision to reassign or cancel licenses before the next billing cycle, without exporting and cross referencing data by hand.
Admin running a periodic check for inactive former employee accounts. Using only the Last login filter with a custom range, the admin quickly finds accounts that haven't logged in for months, a common sign of people who left the company and were never offboarded. The filtered list becomes the direct starting point for deactivating or removing that access, closing a security gap that previously depended on someone remembering to check manually.
