Overview

Trash gives every pipe a safety net for deleted cards. When you delete a card, it now lands in the pipe's Trash and can be restored to its original phase within 15 days, with no support ticket needed. Recovery is in your hands, and deleting a card is no longer a final decision.

What's new?

Trash in every pipe: the delete action now shows as Move card to trash, and every card sent through it goes to the pipe's Trash, available under ManageTrash, right where you work.

  • One-click restore: bring a card back to its original phase and state straight from Trash.
  • 15-day window: deleted cards stay recoverable in Trash for 15 days. After that, they leave the interface and can only be recovered through Support.
  • Full traceability: deletion and restore are recorded in the pipe's Activities/audit logs, capturing who did what and when.
  • Admin-only recovery: only pipe admins can restore cards from Trash, keeping control over what comes back into the process.

Good to know

Recovery depends on the original phase still existing, since that is where the card returns. For that reason, cards tied to a deleted phase cannot be restored: when you delete a phase, the cards in it are deleted along with it and stay unrecoverable, and cards already in that phase's Trash also become unrecoverable. In all of these cases, the card has no destination phase to return to.

How does this help?

  • Recovery stays inside the team: with one click, a pipe admin brings a card back to its original phase, with no ticket and no manual recovery by Support.
  • Deleting stops being scary: with a 15-day margin to undo, deleting a card becomes a reversible action rather than a risk.
  • Every recovery stays auditable: deletion and restore land in the pipe's Activities, so traceability of who did what and when is preserved.

Most relevant for

  • Pipe Admins
  • Operations teams
  • Users on high-volume card processes
  • Managers responsible for auditing and traceability
