Issue with Anonymous Form Submission and Public Link

I have a form that is 100% anonymous, and I’ve been using the public link for people to fill it out. Until now, it worked even for those who were logged in, and the card would be created under Pipebot.

However, today I noticed that the public link's background was not the one I set—it displayed the new portals instead. Additionally, when I opened a card, it was no longer anonymous.

This is likely a bug, and I have reported it, but I still wanted to mention it here….

This is how I solved my issue for now: I added Dynamic Content to a text where the username shows, adding a warning that if their name shows, it means they are logged in and showing how to logout.

It seems like a bug affecting the public link for your anonymous form, causing it to display the wrong background and lose anonymity when creating a card. Since you've already reported it, the issue is likely related to recent platform changes or a misconfiguration. You may need to wait for a fix from the support team.

Hi Manu! These changes is due new portal configuration. Do you still need help about this?

Best regards

When dealing with issues related to anonymous form submission and public links, there are several factors to consider. If your form is intended to be submitted anonymously, it's important to ensure that the form settings are configured correctly to allow for anonymous access and submission. A common issue arises when the form is inadvertently restricted to certain users or requires authentication, blocking anonymous submissions.

It sounds like a recent update may have affected how public form submissions are processed, potentially overriding anonymity settings. If the form is now associating responses with logged-in users, it could be a backend change in how Pipebot or the portal handles authentication. Since you've already reported it as a bug, you might also want to check if there's a temporary workaround, like using incognito mode or ensuring users are logged out before submitting. Keep an eye out for any updates or patches from the platform team.
