populohub

Quite a simple one, but it would be really useful if there was a URL field, so that on cards, the url was clickable. I have all kinds of uses for this, from websites, links to invoices etc etc.

You can add an URL to a statement field and it will link automatically, as far as I know.

You could use an automation to set the statement to a text input’s field value.

There is no validation though...

@populohub I would say the same thing as @genietim said :D Would that solve your problem?

Cool! I was just looking for the same thing, and was just about to upvote @populohub’s great suggestion. But then I tested @genietim’s workaround and realised it would probably be the more efficient way even if there was a dedicated URL field.
So what you do is, for example, just put in a “Long text”-type field in your start form, and label it “Relevant URLs”. Then in each card, just list in it as text lines …
https://your_url_1.here
https://your_url_2.here
It has the benefit that it does not take up more visual space than the URLs you actually enter, nor does it limit the number of URLs you can enter as a set number of dedicated URL fields would. So a new feature may not be needed, but maybe it is good enough a trick to deserve being mentioned in the manual and tutorials if it isn’t already.

Great forum, this one, by the way! I am a new user, very happy with the product so far.

Hi @Alex K , if we add a Long text type of field and add URL, will this field be editable? If yes, how can we “stop” it from being editable so that anyone does not accidently change it. There are Dynamic content field available that are not editable , but it does not support dynamic URL so.
