🤩 Prevent cards with duplicated information

🤩 Prevent cards with duplicated information

Hello, Pipefy community! 👋

Have you ever had trouble with duplicated information inside your processes? An application submitted twice by mistake in your recruitment process, a repeated purchase order causing trouble with your vendors, or even a duplicated lead that caused confusion among the sales representatives?

If so, this improvement will come in handy for you: now, as a pipe admin, you can configure some fields with a unique value in your process. To illustrate, if you already have a card registered with the email alysa.augusta@pipefymail.com in your Pipe, and someone else tries to create a new one with this exact email, they will not be able to.These are the fields you can set as unique:

  • Short text;
  • Email;
  • Phone number;
  • Document ID (CPF, CNPJ);
  • Number;
  • Currency;
  • Date;
  • Date time;
  • Due date.

Email field edition modal, highlighting the new "The field must have a unique value" configuration.

This capability already existed in the Databases, so a few of you might already be familiar with it. Now, it’s also available in your Pipes, so you can take advantage of it and make your process even more error-proof!

If you have any doubts or feedback, contact our team, and we’ll be glad to connect!

One of the best functions!

Hi all, does it work with multiple fields at once?
For example if I have a business rule that says:

“Cards are duplicate based when they have the same account_id, resource_id and relation_type.”

Separately all these fields are not unique, but together they should be unique.

Hi @bernardo-costa
Unfortunately not.

I submitted this suggestion as it would be great.
